I've just received my order of 3 of these from Not on The High Street. Half price plus free delivery . They're really good quality and ideal if you don't want to spend on an Oodie. They come in a lovely wee drawstring bag with 7 permanent fabric markers for the kids to personalise them. I've bought them for my 3 SGC....ages 9, 11 and 12 .

Struggling to keep up with the threads now but has the Boots Beauty Award Box been mentioned already? I think it might just have launched today. It has 12 full size products including the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing balm, plus some minis. The box is £55 and the Philip Kingsley alone would be £36 bought separately, so I’d say it’s very good value.

honestly I would avoid. I bought last year after seeing the recommendations on here and all the lettering on the kit came off within a few washes. I contacted them and they initially offered me 50% off another kit which I refused and then they came back to say they would replace the kit. Same issue with the new kit though, my son now only wears it for mucking about at home, he can't wear it out and about as it looks a state. I would never buy from there again.

What about minikane dolls? Eco friendly vinyl, slightly smell of vanilla (which I find odd, but my one of my dd’s love)? Lots of the sites that sell have 10% off first order like the kid collective

@DaffodilsInAJamjar I've bought from Footballsbest4U site for the last three years. Always been pleased. No problems with quality, or washing. As far as sizing goes, I'm not sure how to advise, but as a guide, I've bought a large top for an adult who would generally buy a large from the high street (medium - large maybe) and it fits nicely.

Are those struggling with lettering washing with fabric softener? Even if you got it from a club show etc, the iron on lettering will come off if washed with softener.

I'm going to be talking to mine about it. They've not written their list yet, just circled things they like. But they know one thing from FC and the rest we choose and pay FC to deliver. Usually they only ask for their FC gift but as getting old I'll ask for ideas for things from us. Having looked at the catalogue a lot of the circles are around baby toys. I'm not sure if that's because it was at the begining of the book when enthusiasm was highest or because since the younger siblings has come they think being a baby is the best. Or what it's for really 🤷‍♀️

@VeeAye Thank you. I didn't know this, but as it happens, I very rarely use fabric softener, which is maybe why I've not had any problems with peeling lettering.

Nope, no fabric softener, just standard Fairy non bio, we don't tumble dry either.

Anyone looking for football kits I can highly recommend a site called Soccer03.com. My son is very fussy where fake shirts are concerned and he’s very impressed with the quality of these. They come from Thailand I think. He paid about a tenner for an 8 year olds kit and now it’s arrived he’s ordering lots more for Christmas.

Ok, I've also just done a successful order with Morrisons but it takes some playing with. It constantly defaults to Aberdeen for collection, when you move it to your local store it changes a number of the items in both availability and price (beware!). I've also set for collection in next two days and avoided all Christmas related items (which caused it to expire the code). My order is however the turkey, a ham, party food and nibbles!!!
