Presents for Christmas appeals/charities (ideas dump)

Similar to the adult presents ideas dump thread, could we have one for presents given through Christmas appeals/charities? Ideas for teens would be especially good as they are trickier to buy for.

The presents need to be inexpensive, not tech-related (recipients may not have phones with which to use earphones or phone cases etc) and not anything like foundation which would have to match skintone.

Beanie hats. Either knitted/crochet or bought cheaply from Primark etc.

I tend to head to Primark and pick up a variety of things such as,
All can be tailored to male or female:
Hat, scarf, gloves set.
Toiletries bag (add nail varnish & remover pads, hair scrunchies, brush, shower gel etc - can be bought elsewhere)
Soft blanket
Hot water bottle
Fluffy socks/sports socks
Fabric tote bag
Stationary - notepad, pen etc
Water bottle

Books

Our local HMV has some smaller, more inexpensive bits - pens, mini notepads etc. Things that might acceptable to teenagers 😉

I like to donate a popular brand of pencil case as that’s something that separates the haves and have nots in the classroom.

I’ve also seen it advised before that a rucksack or bag can be a good choice, as sometimes children in the care system don’t even have a bag to carry their belongings.
