I say "hamper", it's more favour-type boxes, but I am doing them for quite a few people with different tastes and dietary requirements. There was a really good thread for people wanting to make their own produce but I don't have the time or skills for that this year.

So far I've got Boxtails for the drinkers and some Joe and Seph snack popcorn bags. Would particularly like small local business suggestions to fill up the rest.

Where are you op?
I'd go to a local farmshop and buy fancy stuff there. If you have a local coffee house with home made cakes you ask them to package something up or find out who makes theirs.

There's an amazing bakery in my region (cambridgeshire) 'georges cakes' buy depend on how long a shelf life you need.
Etsy is good for edible gifts, would likely do lots of Christmas ones now.

Brixham Maid do amazing chutneys and jams etc. All made by Brixham Maid herself...

Nice box of biscuits - Border Bischita d a good selection box.
Jams/chutneys - jar of lemon curd (if they like lemon curd and its something they would use)
Hot chocolate sticks.
If you can afford to splash out, a couple of Christmas crackers that have decent prizes inside and not the usual tat.
A mini bottle of their favourite liquor if you know what that is. I live in Lake District so mini bottles of Kendal Mint cake vodka always go down well as presents here.
Novelty items like chocolate Brussel sprouts.
If they like baking, maybe a baking kit?
Marzipan fruit

Oh and Grape Tree sells empty cookie jars. You could fill one of these with their favourite sweets and put that in the hamper. And then they have got a cookie jar to use afterwards. They also sell spaghetti jars filled with jelly beans if you are putting a hamper together for a jelly bean lover.

I bought my friend some fortnum and mason breakfast cereal as part of her Christmas hamper last year and she said is was like crack! She kept sneaking to the kitchen to get handfuls of it.
