@autumnmakesmehappy I know, it's so good! "It is the season of the heart, a special time of caring, the ways of love made clear. It is the season of the spirit, the message if we hear it is make it last all year." Makes me well up every time.

Angela's Christmas

Ds is 4 and loves the Grinch, any of the Ice Age films especially the Christmas specials as they’re not too long. Stick man is still enjoyed along with some of the Thomas the Tank Engine Christmas specials.

My DS is 7 now but since he was three we watch The Nightmare Before Christmas every Halloween after trick or treating as a start to the festive season. He loves the newer Grinch and hates the Jim Carey one. I love Klaus and he likes it. We watched the three Santa clause movies last year which are bat shit bananas! But he liked them. And we watched Home Alone 1 &2 which he liked. Arthur Christmas has really grown on me. The Polar Express is like some bizarre fever dream! I really like The Magic Snowflake on Netflix but he seems to have disappeared. It’s a sequel to Santa’s Apprentice which I could never find. The snowman is the first thing he could concentrate on when watching tv at the age of 1.5 years. Only noticed when I had my first DS how few Christmas movies there are appropriate to small children. There’s a real market out there.

Some of these seem a bit old for a 4yo imo. Arthur Christmas is perfect though.

My 4 year old is terrified of The Grinch 🤣

He loved Arthur Christmas and Jingle All The Way though! He thought Jingle was hilarious.

@BlairWaldorfOG Has he seen the 2018 one? My dd loves that one as she thinks he's cute, I think the other ones would terrify her too though!

I've also remembered Deck the Halls, which dd finds quite funny and also all the Wallace and Gromits, which aren't technically Christmas themed but seem to get watched then anyway.
