An Echo dot with clock face.

Dior lip gloss set - this was a HUGE hit last year (bought from them directly and it came beautifully packaged with free samples).

Benefit make up (took advantage of the offer on the Xmas Bargain thread).

Jewellery from Lisa Angel - nothing too extravagant as she always loses stuff.

This year DD would like a Nintendo Switch to play Zelda.
Probably a few little bits as that's quite pricey.
Things that would go down well
Korean beauty box
Pandora charm
Books
Cozy throw
Kenji soft toy
Urban Outfitters hoodie
Jigsaw
Hair mask/fancy hair stuff

Agree regards the dior ... while you don't get any discounts (there is a field at checkout to apply codes but I've never found one Confused) the packaging is gorgeous, the kind of bag she will keep on display. And the samples are lovely too. Delivery always free and very quick too

@Sunsept interested in the Dior lip set for my 16 dd but I can’t find it. Wonder if it’s a Christmas gift?

Sunsept · 07/10/2023 17:16

@Emmmmz9yes i bought it last year as a Xmas gift - came with a blue pouch and mini perfume. Was expensive at £69 but honestly it was so beautifully packaged it really was worth it. Make sure you select the packaging option!

I've just found the Stanley cups 40oz for £25.99, on bigbounty.com , has anyone ordered from here?? That is much cheaper than Amazon etc

starfright · 07/10/2023 17:50

On closer inspection it seems it's a scam site

Oodie
Pandora charm
iPad
Bits n bibs from poundstretcher for a stocking

Dd is older but is pretty young in what she likes - she’s getting a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser, Waterstones card, bubble tea and a Taylor Swift cardigan.
I’m debating a switch between her and ds as they reminisce about playing the wii together when they were younger but not sure if I’m just being silly.

My 16y/o is getting a phone too as she’s due an upgrade and hers is now not working properly. Only planning small things along side- make up brushes, pyjamas, audible credits. That’s the plan anyway. I’ll probably end up getting more than that if I see something I know she will love.

Shamelessly watching with interest;I have 2 girls who are 16 & 18;we've having to do a scaled back Christmas this year due to COL and my kids don't want anything big so looking for smaller fun items.

TheHouseonHauntedHill · 08/10/2023 07:54

So far a sheepskin rug for room, she has a fake one already.
Satin pj's.
Silk pillow case. She likes not lego but lego rip off small Japanese houses etc.
Dry hair curling thing.
Money.
Power bank

Mine is 17
Shes probably just getting £100 cash, a book or two, and a stocking which will have soap, her favourite tea, a mug, socks, face masks, charger cables, scrunchies, claw clips and some snacks. I offered her tickets to a few things but she wasn’t bothered, she’s already going to see Taylor swift next year and would rather just have money.

My 16 year old boy will probably also get cash, his tastes are too expensive for my budget so he can put it towards what he wants!
