Are Sylvanian Families worth the price?

DD will be 4 soon, and thinking of some for her birthday. But they're quite expensive. Are they worth the price?

I’ve never seen that house in my SF travels but some of the furniture looks like it might be. The green armchair.

Id say that they are definitely worth the money. My DC always played with them, they last well and have a good resale value. Some we've kept and are now being played with my step GC.

The green furniture is, it's stamped but yes I wasn't sure about the house. I'm not bothered by it but have fallen down a rabbit hole of SF as my mum got it all out of the loft for my daughter!
