4yo..Totally stuck for main gift as already has scooter, bike, swingball, swings, slide, basketball hoop, ride ons, sand table, water table

As for general gifts hes hard to buy for as only really plays cars And dinosaurs. And has tonnes already inc road mat, hotwheels sets.

6yo

Likes anything ' girly' make up, barbies, sparkly etc

Main will be a bike

11yo

Doesn't play with anything at all. Has make up, nail stuff, etc
Is only here eow so makes it more difficult

Same issues here.
For 4 year old I picked up a Kidizoom camera in the summer sales. Its got games and things on it too so hopefully he will be amused enough to stop pestering for his sister's iPad. For his "big" gift, I've bought a Hobbycraft cardboard castle. It was £10 but he will love it and it will be the centrepiece. I plan to have it built and decked out with tinsel and a set of fairy lights for him coming downstairs.
Other than that, I'll wait until nearer the time and buy jigsaws/PJ's/action figures/books of whatever he's into then. The rest of the family can be relied upon to provide endless cars/trucks/dinosaurs so no need for me to get involved in that 🙈
DSD11 is getting a special trip with DH and probably new clothes/football gear, maybe I'll try to find her a nice perfume as there are clouds of very flowery body spray filling our upstairs these days so she might like an upgrade.
Last year we got her a storage full length mirror for her room. It's got hooks and compartments inside for her jewellery and hair bobbles, hair products, aforementioned body sprays etc. She loves it and it gets her out of the family bathroom for hair experiments 😁

As a joint present you could look at super space. It’s great (a large magnetic building toy for spaces/castles/rockets or whatever they want) but you’d need a couple of boxes and a large sitting room floor etc.

Sweetener12 · 14/08/2023 10:33

Could be items for their rooms, like lava lamps, glowing stickers, led lights
Wall calendar posters with dinosaurs/barbies etc
You can also take a picture of them together and add a Christmas background to it, then use the image as a card and write a short letter "from Santa"
Also, have you considered getting a makeup and hair style doll for the 11yo? It could be both entertaining and useful for her. Something of this kind maybe? https://www.amazon.com/makeup-hair-styling-doll/s?k=makeup+and+hair+styling+doll

At the age of 6 my dd loved her Vtech secret safe diary, Hama beads, roller skates, Lego Friends (she was just getting into it then), and vintage Polly Pockets which we bought on eBay!

11yo:
Vouchers to have her nails done
Earbuds
Oversized hoodie
Bluetooth speakers
Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser
Concert tickets
Doughnut backpack
Starbucks card

WheresTheRemoteControl · 14/08/2023 12:41

Thank you, we already practically have all of the Above.
Dsd bites nails so won't want them done.
Their room has just been completely done out all new furniture carpet accessories. No bedroom items needed.
Dsd has recently purchased half if river island and jd sports so no clothes needed. Possibly may want some new air forces or dunks? Ill ask her

Hamma beads is a good idea. 6yo won't want the v tech thing i showed her before for birthday and she said it was babyish! ( think because she likes what dsd likes) she prefers a normal pen and paper paper diary.
They all have endless art supplies, etc.

Both already have the hairstyle dolls. They had them last xmas and loads of extra bits to style with. Played once!

Issue we have is both have huge families. So we end up with tonnes of stuff.

I always get new pj's etc.
. They had oodies last xmas that still fit, except the 4yo

Would the 11 year old like a Polaroid camera or a small photo printer she can print photos from her phone?
Nice fairy lights for her room? A kindle for reading books or alexa for listening to music?
Younger ones a nintendo switch to share?

Stompythedinosaur · 14/08/2023 13:44

What about tickets for the 11yo? I'm giving my 10 and 12yo dds tickets to Wicked this year.

WheresTheRemoteControl · 14/08/2023 17:36

Already have lights, Nintendo swith, boxes, PlayStation, kindles, alexas.

Camera a good idea

PIL are getting tickets to panto but i think I'll look what else is on.

I always do them a 'yes day' voucher.
So they choose were to go , where to eat out etc all individually for 1 to 1 time to use in Feb Half term to make the dull days pass.

They already have annual passes to 2 local attractions that ILS get each year too.

I guessa trip to smyths will be a doddle for younger 2. Dsd is hardest. She has everything here and literally shows no interest apart from going in pool on trampoline or YouTube

Kindle Fire? My DS who just turned 5 loves his...

WheresTheRemoteControl · 22/08/2023 21:33

Yep the 2 youngest had them last year.

Dsd has mentioned a new scooter as theirs has seen better days. And mentioned a style they like. So will order one this week.

I just don't want to fall in the trap of buying for the sake of It. As have previously done that hence already having everything :/
