Hope everyone is okay with me starting this new thread off. Thread 1 is at 992 so thought best get a new one up and running so we don't miss any bargains.

With thanks to @sideorderofchips for all your work keeping these prequel threads going. Hope everything is okay and you'll be joining us again soon to reclaim your fab threads.

The prequel threads are kept going through the year in the run up to @reastie taking over for the Christmas bargains threads late summer/autumn.

Just found out Poundtoy has been dissolved. Most of my order was delivered on Saturday but one item missing. Found out because they didn't respond to my first email which went through okay but second chaser email I got a reply saying mailbox no longer monitored. So went on their FB page and a few people there complaining. Getting a refund for the missing item through my credit card company thankfully.

No, I have mostly brought non edible bits (cutters etc) but I'm assuming the cookie kit will be a BBE not a use by so doesn't really matter.

I picked up some bargains in my local boots today
Early learning centre maracas down from £14 to £3
Travel wash bag similar price
Pantene hair mask £2.50
They had a few other cheap toiletry bits that would make stocking fillers. The guy at the till said to keep an eye out as they are reducing quite a few things at the moment

Have ordered some of the bottle cookie mixes for half-term activities, and the mug cookies for my teens they love those. £5 postage though feels steep!

Not a bargain per se but does everyone know about it being cheaper to buy postage online? Letters are the same price but it's cheaper to buy parcel postage with royal mail online and at the moment they are offering free collection from your house. I've used it quite a bit recently as I've sold things on FB and posted them. A small up to 2kg parcel is £2.99 online and free collection whereas it's £3.45 in store and then I have to pay for parking etc

Your welcome @snowmanshoes and @Sisisimone just make sure you have accurate scale and tape measure to make sure your parcels are the correct weight and size for the price bracket. I've sent 4 or 5 parcels this way and it's worked well for me so far
