Hope everyone is okay with me starting this new thread off. Thread 1 is at 992 so thought best get a new one up and running so we don't miss any bargains.

With thanks to @sideorderofchips for all your work keeping these prequel threads going. Hope everything is okay and you'll be joining us again soon to reclaim your fab threads.

The prequel threads are kept going through the year in the run up to @reastie taking over for the Christmas bargains threads late summer/autumn.

Has anyone used Temu?? Trustpilot reviews are awful but they have some things on there that would make excellent stocking fillers so wondering about risking it. It's just I've been scammed recently by a Company claiming to be UK based and not being when I needed a refund. I wouldn't be buying clothes, just objects!!

DD1 has been asking for the game Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza after playing it at school. It’s just dropped from £10.99 to £7.99 on Amazon so I’ve bought one for her for Christmas and one for the present drawer - might be good for others!

@ArthurChristmas22 I did a Temu order the other week to see how it went.
I got some bowl covers, a under counter light and some grout cleaner
Everything turned up and was fine.
Just be careful with all the amazing deals. I ended up buying stuff and then it gave me a deal and then I was doom scrolling to buy things. I gave up in the end.
I know a few people that have used it and they have all done okay with what they have brought.

@ArthurChristmas22 I've used temu a few times recently (turning an office into baby girl bedroom) and they've been excellent. Also have some stocking fillers...

They also do this in a version called on the flip side. You have to put your hands down palm up. My kids love it

@Blessedbethefruitz thank you! I will give them a go. They have an infuriating way of sending me pop ups on things I think are just what I need at mo!!! Congratulations on the baby girl bedroom! One of mine will be heading to Uni next year so Temu may be providing the stocking fillers that will be useful at Uni!

@ArthurChristmas22 It's a horrible app to search, but great prices and selection. I avoid anything electrical or magnets for safety as my kids are small, but it's great for wall stickers and dressing up clothes (butterfly wings en route)!

My local M&S food hall were getting their usual 'Christmas Corner' prepared today. I fully expect to see the ubiquitous light up tea and shortbread houses before the school holidays are over!

If M&S are preparing space for their Christmas range I’ll expect to see some bargains in some of their usual ambient temperature stock soon. I think Tuesday is a good day to look.

I missed out on some bargains last week as they had reduced their honey and shea hand creams to 20p, but they were all gone. (think they are changing the packaging)

I'm changing my M&S shopping day to Tuesday instead of Thursday from now.

Wow! A bargain for someone! It is slightly annoying when you see the red shelf label and everything has gone, but there it is.
