I know I've left it late but can anyone suggest a gift for a couple?

It's for my sister and brother in law. We stopped actual Christmas presents for each other years ago but as they're cooking for us on Christmas Day I'd like to get them something to say thank you.

This year I'm totally at a loss so would really welcome ideas please. Budget not huge, up to £30.

I've got everyone a new release hard back book that's in line with their interests. We are also on token gifts for adults.

Afternoon tea voucher www.devonheaven.co.uk/products/cream-tea-gift-voucher?variant=5750037938215

Good ideas but brother in law doesn't read at all and I've bought sister a book token for her birthday (Christmas week) already, at her request.

Neither of them like cream and I doubt the voucher would get here in time now for a cream tea as they're sent via royal mail.

I thought about a fast food voucher as they occasionally enjoy a KFC or something but they won't - and never will - order food online and the only ones I can find are for Just eat.

I get my couple friends vouchers for local restaurants, by email.

I would bring wine/flowers/chocolates that you think they would enjoy, as that feels more like a thank you for hosting. If you get them something that feels like a Christmas gift, they may feel awkward for not getting you anything IYSWIM?

Unless they’re teetotal decent wine is the obvious and best gift to take for anyone who is hosting you.

Also it doesn’t really count as a Christmas present in this circumstance, so they need not feel awkward. It’s purely a thank you for their hospitality.

A £30 cinema voucher would cover two with popcorn- a relaxing few hours after hosting.

Get a wine stopper and bottle opener set.
A cheese knife set.
A really nice cheese board.
Pair of candlesticks
Lovely fruit bowl

And 'the 12 days of Christmas' Tipsy Wight vodka selection. Over your budget but they do other sets.

Was just about to suggest this.

Thank you for the ideas, I know it makes them sound difficult but they never go to the cinema, dsis doesn't like cheese, neither drink very much and they don't usually go to restaurants.

I think I'll stick to flowers and chocolates as a thank you for hosting.
