Help me find less bright tree lights

We find the LED lights too bright for our tree and they really dazzle us when the room lights are low.

Do you know of any that are less bright?

Or have a dimmer?

Or do you have any other tips and tricks?

Thanks in advance.

You might need 'warm white' lights, they are a softer colour than the full-on white ones

Yes, good call. But they are still too bright.

Not quite what you’ve asked for but could you buy a set with fewer lights? I put up our tree yesterday and used a new set of 200 lights instead of the two sets of 80 (same brand) that I’d had previously. They appear much brighter than previously.

Also, could you put them on a programme for a slow glow or one with only 1/2 of the lights at one time.

Or how about this type, where you don't actually see the bulb?

I dont want anything fancy, and definitely not flashing. I want lots of duller lights to give the effect of the old style bulbs. Too few is still glaring but then looks mean as well.

Get battery operated lights and use rechargeable batteries.

Does that work with LEDs?

I have kept googling and I have found a set that claims to dim. Fingers crossed.
