Hi
Do your teens actually want to do anything Christmassy??
Aside from dragging mine along the usual Christmas markets I am struggling, with finding Christmas things that my 14 year old wants to do. Help ideas muchly appreciated. We live in the north east.
Thanks in advance

Not really...

Apart from watching the Xmas episodes of our favourite shows, Xmas films etc they aren't really interested

Ds1 is studying hard and ds2 is fighting off a virus so I think we eill feel more festive this time next week...🎄

Mine liked ice skating last year.

Let them be - this who "doing Christmas activities" is new to part you from your money!
The only thing we always did was church, beyond that they could dip in and out by 14

I took my 14yo to see a Christmas Carol at the theatre. I booked it because he studying it at school so I thought it would tick both the Christmas activity and supportive of school work thing! And he actually loved it more than I thought he would so I was really happy about that. He also enjoys a light trail so we're doing that too.

I find it tricky as he's my oldest - his sisters are 10 and 4 - and it's hard to find things that everyone will enjoy so we have to divide a bit as he obviously doesn't want to come along to a Santa's grotto! But he has said he'll come ice skating with us so that's a win.

It's tricky as when DS was younger we'd always do one big pre Christmas activity like a light walk or a show.
He will still come out for meals with us to expensive steak restaurant so that's probably what we'll do.

Why do you NEED to do something Christmassy"? It's a very, very long time since I was a teenager but I remember that all I wanted to do at Xmas was enjoy being off school, sleep, read lots of books, watch TV, see my friends and definitely spend as little time with my family as possible. I suspect that teenagers today aren't much different!
