I usually spend around £500 on mine but I'm stumped this year. They're not into tech. They run a business so getting them tickets to something is always tricky. Any ideas?!

I buy my parents a weekly entry each into a local to them charity. Have done a local hospice, then my mum fell out with them so now the local air ambulance. I think, in the 8 years I have been doing this, they have won £600 and £50. Which was a source of great excitement and, in the case of the former, funded their new television.
I would also consider sponsoring, say, an animal at your local zoo so that you could maybe do a family day out to visit. On a date at their convenience.
Fortnum's hamper, which I think has been mentioned.
Hotel voucher, so they can arrange it themselves.
Pret subscription which I think is £25 per month, and you get 5 "free" coffees a day.

Could you pay for services near them? Some time from a gardener? Cleaner etc? Chef to stock the freezer with their favourite homemade meals? I’d bloody love someone to do that for me. For me, things like getting the patio clean and ready in the spring, clean guttering etc would be amazing.

You know you don’t actually have to buy them theatre tickets, you could get them National theatre vouchers- we’ve done this for my parents and they love it.
