@ScarierThanBoo thanks for the title. Hope your slappers keep you lovely and warm and cushion your feet through the winter Xmas Grin

Can we stop pushing referrals on this thread if it's not a direct response to someone asking? Even if you're posting the actual links on the referral thread, I've noticed we have the same poster on here at least once a day and it's gone past helpful and feels quite grabby. Bah humbug.

I agree, post them on the referral thread (and take your turn so everyone gets a chance to be referred to)

Just been to 66 Book club in Hemel Hempstead, it’s a trade only book seller that opens to the public once a month (twice in December) and sells books at 70% off rrp. Membership is £2 per year. Massive warehouse with huge selection especially of kids books, I found them on TT and then on fb, staff are lovely, large box for £43 and my daughter got a free book for bringing along a Christmas drawing!
I realise not many will be within travelling distance but well worth it if you are

I’d love to go somewhere like that.think my husband may cry as I’ve so many books😂

"We have been to the Ole Smokey moonshine testing in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and they are fab. O'Donnells are ok but not a patch on Ole Smoky."

I sneakily left my DH with my DD to explore and met up to pay! He was actually a very good sport despite the fact between me and DD the house is full of books! 😂

PeeJayDay · 04/12/2022 17:15

On the Moonshine, I agree that ole smoky is good but Sugarlands Shine is second to none

AnotherBreakfast · 04/12/2022 18:13

DSs have just written their lists to Santa. DS1 has asked for something I can get from the shops - DS2 has asked for something which apparently doesn't exist!? An Evil Pea plush - nothing on ebay, vinted, Facebook marketplace of shpock... are there any other places I can look???

Etsy have a few knitted/crochet peas - maybe one of the sellers would do a special commission?

Shufflebumnessie · 04/12/2022 18:20

@AnotherBreakfast not quite a pea but could you say it's an evil mutant pea that sprouted arms and legs?

Has anyone had their Scrawlbox delivered? Mine was dispatched last week and still not here.

The RM strike is affecting all couriers.

My baby daughter died when I was pregnant because I had stage 3c cervical cancer. We always associate her with Robins. Guess what my M&S app sent me today? 💖
This isn’t just sent from above, it’s M&S sent from above!

Have 'ordered it' - they apparently call back and you can't actually order it online... keeping all my fingers and toes crossed. Thanks so much for finding!
@Shufflebumnessie unfortunately he is very particular and has already told me he wants the evil pea with the black mask 🙄

He's not after a Super Attack Pea by any chance? They are on Neopets

CeeceeBloomingdale · 04/12/2022 19:01

@evtheria I'd be very grateful for a smiths code if still available.

My DH adores moonshine, his favourite is Ole Smoky blue flame but very potent! White lighting is a good alternative. They also do flavoured ones. All on Amazon or Master of Malt. We have been to the Ole Smokey moonshine testing in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and they are fab. O'Donnells are ok but not a patch on Ole Smoky.

Thank you! I'll check those out too.

Thanks for the recommendation. More for me to check out.
