Where do I get a nice (not expensive) letter from father Christmas from?
Preferably delivered to D's?

You get a friend to do it. Ours used to get faxed letters so they knew it wasn’t their father, because he was with us when they went off.

Special fine. Elf ish language. Posted. Post office used to do them too.

Depends what you class as "nice and inexpensive" but the NSPCC do some lovely ones for around a fiver "personalised" to your child. And you have the added benefit that you're giving to charity at the same time.

Depend on the age, but best one you can get is do it yourself, I think.

Santa letter direct, I get sent a reminder every year and costs £2.99

The NSPCC letter is nice, there's a suggested donation of £8.00 but you pay what you can afford. You still get the letter if you can only afford a few £.

Make sure you opt out of any marketing though, they sent me an advertising letter last week, the envelope was decorated very similar to Santa's letter from last year and it was clear on the envelope what it was for. Luckily I got to the door mat first as DS can read now.

We always did them ourselves, bought nice old fashioned looking paper and printed them.

There’s people on Etsy who will do this. I think was around £10 a couple of years ago. It was all my DD put on her list - a letter from Santa. Came beautifully written I gave her the words to use. Just use the search on Etsy.

NSPCC is 'technically' free but its a charity so a little immoral not to donate, their suggested amount has gone insane the last few years (suggested £30 to me this year lol) but you can pay what ever you can afford (£2, £5, £10 etc... up to you).

You might want to get a move on though as several companies charge increased postage once it hits December.
