I’m looking for something special to give to the nurses on the chemo ward where I’ve been having treatment for the last year. I’ve made cupcakes twice, so I don’t really want to do that again…I’d like to buy something really nice for them to share, chocolates, biscuits etc as a Christmas treat. Budget of around £20…has anyone seen anything that looks specula but is big enough to share for around that price please? TIA 🎅🏼😊

I work in a similar area and the best thing to receive is a hand written card with a thank you message. Lindor balls also go down well!

A handwritten card saying specifically what you appreciated about them - best present ever as nurses can use it for revalidation.

Quality street do those personalized tins - you could get one with the ward name on? I've just bought one for the midwives in my maternity hospital, I've seen a lot of them during my pregnancy and will be having a c section just before Xmas. (It's £20)

And as PPs have said, cards they can use in their records!

Ooh I like the idea of the personalised quality street! I’ll have a look at that 😊 the personalised card goes without saying, when I finished my chemo I gave them a card alongside my homemade cupcakes to say ‘thank you’, and they’ll get another for Christmas 😊

Something I have given to nursery staff that went down really well to pair with the gifts of chocolate/biscuits often given was Coffee sachets.

Nice coffee, quickly made on their breaks and fuel for carrying on.

It might be nice for the nurses as well.

I gave a basket of lip balms and hand creams from a local maker after chemo and tea light candles in organza bags tied onto a little conical tinsel tree after immunotherapy. Again from a local maker.

Mini cooling, reviving foot sprays went down well with my nurses!

Thanks everyone…I was going down the route of the personalised chocs but instead I went out today and have bought a red wicker basket and filled it to the brim with lovely biscuits and chocolates…hopefully something to suit everyone! Will dress it up with a few ribbons etc to make it look festive! Thank you for all the suggestions 😊
