Just that really. I want to buy my lovely dog something.

A carrot garden toy

pompomdaisy · 18/11/2022 08:48

A £3500 operation to remove a tumour. Plus a doggy advent calendar!

PuttingDownRoots · 18/11/2022 08:49

Weve got her friend and her dog a collar attachment which is a bottle opener

Hoppinggreen · 18/11/2022 08:49

Probably a collar and some special treetos
Hes not getting much though, it was his birthday recently and he got plenty!!

TheFauxFighters · 18/11/2022 08:53

Friend treating her dog to this: dead practical, though, and she admits is more for HER benefit!

So is also adding a chew toy for the dog himself...

Oh, the poor thing.
Hope he/she makes speedy recovery.

I feel your pain . This was my last year. Lots of luck for a successful outcome .

My dogs are having a stocking , a full roast and a very long beach walk Christmas Day

HouseIsOnFire · 18/11/2022 09:09

Bacon flavoured bubbles 😅

EcoCustard · 18/11/2022 10:21

My ddog is getting a selection of his favourite treats he always used to get some new chuck it balls but he’s getting too old now. He will also get his usual Christmas dinner, and a nice walk with lots of fireside cuddles.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 18/11/2022 10:35

It was obviously a few days later, but our dog’s favourite bit of Christmas was after I’d simmered the turkey carcass for stock, and then painstakingly picked out every last tiny bone and sinew, so she could have all those lovely manky bits for her dinner. 🐶

Floralnomad · 18/11/2022 10:37

Ours is getting a plush Armadillo and some peanut butter bones . He gets a Wuf box every month courtesy of his adult human brother so he really doesn’t need much but he likes unwrapping things .

OrigamiOwls · 18/11/2022 11:27

I've ordered him some treats from JR pet products... He likes the ostrich bones!

Moro93 · 18/11/2022 11:38

Our labrador pup will be 9 months old a few days after Christmas. I considered a new bed but it might get wrecked like the last one so maybe a new blanket for now.

We'll also get her a nice collar, as she's getting close to her adult size, and a toy to open. Maybe some kind of soft toy/teddy as she absolutely loves them.

I'll also fill a small stocking with treats that she doesn't always get, like chicken feet and some kind of bone/chew. She'll also get a nicer dinner than her usual kibble, maybe some steak or something.

Yes, we are getting a bit carried away but it's her first Christmas and the kids are asking what she's getting so she has her own list 😂

mamatoTails · 18/11/2022 11:45

2 new beds - the big cushion type. One for the lounge, and one for our bedroom. And a Christmas toy.

Tarkan · 18/11/2022 12:06

Two of them will get new toys even though they already have an overflowing toy box and the other one who doesn't play with toys at all will get some of his favourite meaty treats from the local pet shop. The other two can't have meaty treats so it works well in balance for them all that way.

Knowing DM they'll also probably all get scraps of Christmas dinner to eat when we go visit.

ShakeYourFeathers · 18/11/2022 13:15

New coat possibly

Also have my eye on the new pit Pat tracker but that might be for her birthday instead

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 21/11/2022 07:30

Buttons he can press and they speak so he can start learning to wake me up by pressing it rather than his usual preferred method of scratching the wall 🙈, a doughnut bed now that he doesn’t destroy them, a harder puzzle toy and some dead animal body parts to chew. He loves to unwrap presents, last year was his first Christmas and he thought he was being really naughty so he took his presents behind the sofa to open 😂.

sueelleker · 21/11/2022 17:46

An assortment of the more expensive dog foods that they don't usually get (I have 2 dogs) I'm not buying any more toys-the house and garden is full of them.

Chlobo89 · 21/11/2022 20:55

2 bags of bacon sizzlers, a doggy biscuit selection box, doggy donuts, pedigree chicken chewy cubes, 2 toys and some mickey mouse pyjamas ☺️

Stompythedinosaur · 22/11/2022 00:38

I think new food bowls! Also some treats in her stocking.

Pythonese · 22/11/2022 00:40

A large bone from the butchers

VivaJen · 22/11/2022 04:23

I picked these up last week but she will also be getting her own bag of chipolatas from the butchers

Unfortunately, my dog doesn't like being dressed up otherwise I would get him a Christmas jumper. He looks positively miserable when he has worn one in the past.

Last year he got a lovely big pillow with his name on it from Yappie.com
I may have a look on there.

Nothing. She’s a dog. She doesn’t know it’s Christmas and doesn’t have a strong belief system. She can pick up any dropped Turkey.

Pharos · 22/11/2022 08:33

A dna test so we can work out what bonkers mix she is. Plus a lots of squeaky tennis balls.
