Potion Making Kit

My Dd (age 10) would like a potions making kit for Christmas and would like the potions to be drinkable.

I was planning on gathering together some bits to make one myself but I'm running short of time and inspiration.

I already have some bottles with stoppers that the finished potions can go into and I was thinking that I'd buy different flavoured Rubicon drinks but I'm out of ideas after that.

Does anyone have any inspiration for interesting drinkable ingredients? Thanks!!

I normally love making things like this but this year my head's totally distracted and I'm drawing a blank.🙈

Can you get some molecular gastronomy / mixology stuff to add - like this stuff but buy the raw ingredients and get instructions off the Internet to write out?

Teisseire and Funkin make some cool fruit syrups you could use. Could you get some cocktail cherries for decorating glasses?

Maltesers float if she was going to make a coffee or a chocolate potion, like iced coffee?

You can buy butterfly pea flowers on amazon. They change the colour of the liquid when the acidity of a drink changes. I can't remember exactly but I think adding lemon juice makes it go blue to purple or something along those lines??

Bubble tea bubbles would be great for this. Can get them in all sorts of colours and flavours

Hibiscus flowers in syrup would be fun, lovely as they open up in the potion.
Also, have a look at fruit and herbal teas, already packaged in neat little potion envelopes, and some make interesting coloured brews!
