£10 Secret Santa

I’m in three different Secret Santas this year, all set at £10 each…all female, but I don’t know the recipients as they’re going im a sack. So need something nice but generic. Everything I’m looking at on Amazon seems so…well, boring! The only thing I liked really was a box of Space Masks (cheaper versions) that seems quite nice, but I’m seeking inspiration! Any ideas anyone? 🎅🏼😊

This! Or a gift voucher for M&S/costa etc

Not a mug, noone wants more mugs.

I love a mug

What about a lovely fountain pen? I received one as a secret Santa a few years back and absolutely love it.

Chambord - inexpensive liqueur but lovely and the bottle is cute. If they dont drink they can regift it. Add some chocolate to get to £10.

If no-one has a nut allergy or is vegan a luxury Christmas pudding.

I think these are so perfect for a secret Santa. A bit different and very sweet.

I have one and it’s gorgeous!

I know lots of people who don't like candles. The article scents make me feel really nauseous.
I personally would like to receive any of the following:
A posh box of chocolates
Some cosy bed socks
Nice mug
Voucher
Nice photo frame
A couple of good pens
Bottle of wine

No! A Christmas pudding is not a present! Anything but a Christmas pudding.

Oooh fab idea but I'd pop a wee bottle of Prosecco in with it instead of chocolate - chambord and prosecco is lovely!

BeaLola · 21/11/2022 22:44

The lovely decorated Prosecco bottle from M&S £10 - there's a rose version as well

Aromatherapy Associates hand sanitizer- lovely and lasts for ages

Big bad if chocolate and a book- Amazon had the Marple 12 new stories or Thursday Murder Club for £10 or less
Or a Christmas book - Waterstones had lots of lovely ones within your budget be it a cloth hardback of a Christmas Carol or a poem for everyday of the year type

Amaryllis or potted hyacinths

Sho Bottle

I'd love a fountain pen but a lovely smart rollerball is good too

I think this thread proves that Secret Santa's are wasteful and pointless. We're most likely not doing ours at work this year, for various reasons. In seven years there, I've had two Secret Santa gifts that haven't gone straight to the charity shop in the new year - both gifts were chocolate. Pointless tat irritates the hell out of me, I don't want it in my house!

I'd hate a pen (already have a good fountain pen), alcohol (especially any kind of liqueur or Prosecco) or socks.

Please ignore the rogue apostrophe!

kateandme · 22/11/2022 06:37

One of those huge Christmas bags.fill with shredded paper.and hide lots of chocolate bits in there.

kateandme · 22/11/2022 06:39

I think mugs are ok this time of year because they bring out the major sized ones.and there is never a mug big enough☺️
