We have 5 nieces, ages 10, 8, 4 on one side 5, 3 on the other. Looking for some gifts that don't look stingy for around £10. Could add selection pack/similar sweets to that.

They like colouring, crafts, books, games, lego, harry potter. 8 year old is a bit sportier than the rest if there are any ideas there. Would be happy to do a joint gift for the 5&3 as will happily share with one another.

Thanks!

Tesco had a big ish Aqua beads set for £10 today, perfect for the 5 -6 year olds.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 31/10/2022 21:24

Multiple nieces and daughters of the same ages to buy for here too!

A mug cake recipe book and novelty mug were big hits with my 10yo niece and 10yo DD last year.
Next do some lovely kids perfume sets for £10. I got my DD a Miss Sparkle set for her stocking and it is gorgeous and smells beautiful.
Weird but true book
Wreck this journal
Lego dots
Candle making set
Harry Potter calligraphy or wax seal set

My 8yo niece was thrilled with the Melissa and Doug Decoder set I bought for her birthday. Spy kits seem to be big hits at that age.
Fimo clay set
Smiggle stationary - novelty pencil case, lockable notebook, scented pens etc
HP Lego

For the younger ones
Twisty Pets bracelets
Sticker books
Art box
Hobbycraft colour-in cardboard playhouse

For the joint gift, maybe a Kinetic Sand play set?

Groovester · 31/10/2022 21:28

Go to The Works. So many lovely arts and crafts kits.

I'd get a board game for the 5 and 3 year old. Mine love monopoly junior but it does depend on the 3 year olds attention span. My 3 year old loves it, but I know others wouldn't.

Crocodile dentist is also popular here and buckaroo. DD 3 has donutters on her list too and I'm sure my 6 year old would enjoy it too

If not a board game maybe one of the bigger playdough sets

What’s a mug cake recipe book?

CoffeeChocolateWine · 31/10/2022 22:14

@MidnightConstellation, it's a recipe book for speedy cakes you can mix up in a mug and cook in the microwave! This is the one I bought for my niece and DD.

Thanks, that looks great!

Any of the Galt craft kits go down well here with 7 yr old and as presents for 5 to 9 yr olds.

Awumminnscotland · 02/11/2022 14:16

And I second the top model sticker books fir the older ones

I did this for my DDs aged 10 and 4. My older one asked for one and I thought it was such a lovely idea I got one for my youngest too! They arrived a few days ago and are gorgeous!

Catnip22 · 02/11/2022 18:37

Thanks everyone! Some more great ideas to look up!!

Hexbug mobots and Misfittens are both toys I saw for £10 or less that I thought would suit age 4 all the way up to my teenager! And the works have an air-dry clay set with molds in different themes with rave reviews that are 3 for £15.

user375242 · 05/11/2022 03:52

Oops, I meant moulds.

user375242 · 05/11/2022 03:53

Also my 8 and 14 year old have both asked for loom bands, not sure if they are making a come back. But inexpensive as a joint gift for the oldest two.

My dd is 10, some gifts I got her that have gone down well are harumika sets, which are on offer at bargainmax. There is also lots of games on there, they currently have dobble XL for £9.99. And 10% off if you sign up as a new customer. Or she likes fuse beads, I got a box from amazon for around £10 for her birthday.

For the younger ones this kinetic sand set is reduced to £5. Would make an impressive present and its quite mess free! www.thetoyshop.com/arts-creative-play/dough-and-sand-modelling/sand-modelling/Kinetic-Sand-Mega-Beach-Sand-Kingdom-Playset/p/535019?queryId=b462d142fe5fbcc0f9ea82099d94ca11

Oh the 10 year old would love those fashion sets, never heard of them before!

Is a ten year old still within the age range for Lego dots? Or a bit old. Lego website says up to 9. Thinking of my cousin.

My 11yo loves them (as does 9yo). She uses them to make artwork for her room. Like most things... Will be child dependent!

Silk butterfly clips make gorgeous gifts. This sort of thing: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1267340903/silk-butterflies-blue-22-butterfly

My 10yo loves Lego dots and it's quite high up on her Christmas wish list. I've got her the photo frame set.
