Corner Xmas tree?

So I have added new furniture to my living room which I love but it has only left one small corner for a Xmas tree. I now have a sofa underneath the window which leaves a very small gap between the sofa arm and the door.
photo attached.
Can anybody recommend a decent corner tree? I really don’t want to spend a lot and then when it arrives be so disappointed at the quality, as is often the case. Pre lit if possible. I can’t not have a decent size tree for the dc sake.
Thank you so much.

Can you put a table there and put a 4' tree on the table, with presents under it on the table? Seems that would make a better showing.

How old are your kids?

Grandadwasthatyou · 29/10/2022 20:40

They are teenagers but still want all the Xmas decorations although we don’t need to leave presents under the tree anymore!

How about one of those retro aluminium trees, again in a 4' height that could sit on a small side table? Might be cool for teens.

Also I have seen half-trees that can either be mounted on the wall or used in a stand; it's like a regular tree from the front view but flat on the back. You might google for those.

I think John Lewis usually has slim trees.

Argos have got half a Christmas tree and they are quite nice . You can have the ones where it starts half way up so not against the sofa won’t make it look squashed in .

We have a slim tree 2.5 feet across, at its very widest, can be made a little smaller by pushing it into the corner... fits in our bay window beside a recliner chair. Like you we had a spot and found a tree to fit it. Got ours from a large garden centre.

Just use a normal tree and don't put all the branches on, so you can use it as a corner unit for now, and differently if you change your decor in future.

I bought a slim one from balsam hill. The style is quite sparse and realistic looking - not everyone's cup of tea but I had it in a similar place to yours last year and it didn't get squashed

What about a hanging half-tree? It's basically a flat backed but full at the front tree and hangs from a loop near the top (there's also a loop in the middle if you want it extra sturdy but I never needed to.) This is the one: www.xmasdirect.co.uk/artificial-christmas-trees/restricted-space-trees/wall-mounted-half-christmas-tree/?attribute_choose-item-price=4ft+(1.2m)+x+28in+-+293+tips&gclid=CjwKCAjwh4ObBhAzEiwAHzZYUxqiVJM3U21NmnJieGD5ASiEZxtigxk1l8N2hiIL88527gSeDp6R8RoCsgEQAvD_BwE

This is what I do, leave the back branches off so it’s just front and sides and the tree is basically pushed back into the corner.
