How many gifts do you give each person on your list?

I dont have a list. I dont get the craziness of the season at all. My son will get a small gift of his choice but beyond that nada

My 3 dc have a budget of about £350 each and get about 50 gifts each, DH had a larger budget of about £500 this as he wanted something expensive, he will get about 40 gifts (I do him an "advent calendar" and wrap each thing and put a number on the tag); Dm also has an advent calendar (I refill an old net-a-Porter one, she is alone and receives no other gifts so she really appreciates it) so that is about 30 gifts in total for her. I should think it'll be about 200 things to wrap in total this year.

I track things on the gift list app that I buy over the year. I'm very organised, and buy stuff in advance in sales or when there are discounts...and before any one has a go at me as has happened before on here, yes I can afford it, no my kids aren't spoilt - they rarely ask for anything and I have to badger them to tell me what they want; yes, I include all things as gifts if I wrap them, from their favourite boxes of chocs, to a pair of jeans to an expensive perfume/trainers or whatever; and no my house is not full of crap, I'm a bit of a minimalist and have many, many empty cupboards and drawers, I just happen to buy a lot of Christmas gifts (many are consumable eg art materials) and because I have three DD a lot is passed down from one child to the next.

I have asked every person in my family about what they like, and this is how they like it (I probably made of a bit of a rod for my back as it's a lot of work, but I love Christmas and am thinking about it from about August onwards). If they decided that they want a huge thing they would have that instead of loads of smaller gifts. I will pretty much stick to my budget and won't buy anything more for the ones who are already at budget. I have spent more than I thought I had this year but have hardly noticed it, or asked for a contribution from my DH.

Different for different people.
Spouse and children get more than friends who might get a shared present between a couple or my team at work who get one present.
Elderly neighbour might get a hamper with a few little presents and other neighbours just a bottle of Sloe gin or Quince brandy.

I only buy for my son, my partner and partners 4 grandchildren, I've bought my sons gifts already, he has 3, the step grandchildren will have around £20 spent on each, my partner I dunno yet, but I don't think it's the amount you spend, especially in this day and age its the thought that counts

My 3 DC get about 15 gifts each - 5 under the tree and 10 in their stocking. DH I might get 3 or 4 things for depending on price. My parents usually get a joint gift plus a small gift each. Usually the same for PILs although DH sorts that out. The only other people I buy for are my 6 nieces and they get one thing each.
