Christmas charity gift cards for UK based charities?

Hi!

I need to find a charity gift card for a charity that supports children or families in poverty in the UK.

I’m looking for something that feels tangible (similar to the ‘buy a goat for a family’ style gifts that Oxfam do) but I am struggling to find anything similar for charities that help people in the UK?

If anyone has seen anything that fits the bill, I would be eternally grateful 😊.

Unfortunately, gifts that support global causes aren’t any good for this particular gift. My family member has asked specifically for something that will help local(ish) people with the cost of living crisis (please don’t try to sell me on global charities, I already agree that they are great!).

If for Christmas then homeless charities do the ones where you buy Christmas dinner - Crisis at Christmas?

I would possibly just make a card/voucher and give a donation to something local e.g. your local refuge or food bank? They will send you a receipt if you ask.

How about buying some items for a particular charity off a wish list? So the baby bank near me has a wish list with things they can't take second hand such a bottles/nappies. You could then take a photo of the items and create some sort of gift certificate for them?

Those are great ideas, thank you! I never thought of just making a gift certificate myself but it makes so much sense Grin
