Boxes/tins of gluten free biscuits

A family member mentioned during a 'biscuits are a boring present' conversation that she would love to be given a box of biscuits but it's not something she's ever given due to having a gluten free diet, with the added complication that any kind of chocolate gives her migraines.

Any personal recommendations for boxes/tins of GF biscuits please? It doesn't matter if a few of them are chocolate because I'm sure her DH & kids will help out but the majority should not be chocolate.

Thank you

Not eaten these personally but have tried some of their other biscuits which are delicious and the tins are beautiful.

You'd need to check whether she can have oats - some celiacs can't have any oats at all because the protein Avenin is very similar to gliadin- and dairy intolerance is a common thing due to the damage celiac does to the gut.

Waitrose tends to have a better range than other supermarkets.

Thank you both. Those F&M do look lovely. I omitted from my OP (sorry!) that I meant box containing an assortment if possible.

She isn't coeliac, I believe she's ok with oats but I'd better check, thank you.

@RockingMyFiftiesNot
I got my bil a box of Walkers gluten free shortbread last xmas. He said they were really nice. I actually got them at our local garden centre that does fancy food bits.

How much do you want to spend OP? My coeliac DD was over the moon to get gluten free Biscuiteers biscuits.

Ringtons have several different sizes of hampers of biscuits.

I was bought a hamper of Walkers GF shortbreads a couple of years ago which contained an assortment of different flavours. Was really lovely

Kent & Fraser Gluten Free Spicy Ginger Cookies. You can get them on Ocado.

Amazing!!

I had a look at Biscuiteers website and they do say that both their GF and non GF biscuits are made in the same environment so they are coeliac, then you would need to avoid in case of gluten contamination! If you give an accidental hint of gluten to someone with coeliac disease they will likely be in the bathroom in agony for some time!! Great for people who are simply on a low gluten diet though and they are very pretty

Tesco usually do mixed boxes nearer Christmas, they’re very nice

If you are lucky enough to have an Italian deli within reach, try fancy boxes of amaretti. They are generally made without flour and when I've asked, the owner has shown me several brands (all gorgeously packaged and intended for gifting) that were gluten free ("senza gluteine" on the packet- not sure if I've got the spelling right there).

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I feel her pain, being gluten and dairy free at Christmas can be a bit miserable especially when people moan at getting biscuits/chocolate or how they've eaten too much cheese. Theres so many lovely boxed biscuits, tubs of chocolates, selection boxes of crackers and lovely flavoured cheese. Whereas it's difficult to find anything similar free from that is nice!

One year my husband filled up a stocking of all the treats I liked so whilst it's not a box it was one of my favourite presents! You could do similar in a Christmassy tin. I find Sainsburys to be the nicest for gluten free, their choc chip cookies are amazing! My dds who can eat everything prefer them over normal ones!! Asda has a really good range too and I love their bourbon biscuits.

Yes it must be really frustrating, that's why I thought I'd see if I can find a box/tin of assorted GF biscuits that don't have too many chocolate ones.I'll keep an eye out in Tesco as PP said they do one. Otherwise there are lots of great suggestions on here, not 100% what I wanted but can create my own mix and match hamper as an alternative.
Thanks all
