how do you organise present opening in your house?

do they open everything all at once? ds 2.9 and want to make it special and to enjoy presents he gets.

When I lived at home it was stockings (till we stopped having them), then I think we had to get washed and dressed, then it was opening presents time. As we got older we stayed in bed later, lol.
