A little stuck on ideas. We normally have a light breakfast, because of the meal coming.
This year we are eating our main meal on Christmas Eve, so would really rather have a larger breakfast.
We aren't fans of smoked salmon though do like fish.

I suppose that breakfast could be our big meal of the day, as we are having sandwiches / cheese board / mince pies etc in the afternoon.

Croissants with lots of jam and butter, and a glass of fizz

We have crumpets with bacon and eggs.

Usually eat about 8/9am and have a big roast at 2pm.

Then just crackers and cheese and veg sticks about 8/9pm.

If your main meal I'd be looking to do bacon, egg, sausage, part baked rolls.
Pastries and butter jam.
Fruit and yoghurt.

Have a slow breakfast at the table and treat it like a main and dessert.

It's the one day of the year when it's socially acceptable to eat chocolate and drink booze at 9am. So that's what I do.

I feel quite 'posh' now because we have those bake at home croissants and pastries all the time for breakfast.
