This might be quite a random thread but... I've realised I need a few Christmas presents for me. My husband is struggling to find time for very legitimate reasons.

So ... shopping experts. Here is the challenge.

If you was to be buying me a gift with the below in mind what would you buy? (So I can buy myself!)

Guess it's close to a surprise!! Ha.

Size 18
Pregnant
No known allergies
Fairly feminine
£100 / £110 ish budget.

How about a really luxury dressing gown. You'll be spending a lot of time up in the night for various reasons and it's nice to have something luxurious.

Make sure it washes well though!

Robot vacuum

mdh2020 · 20/12/2021 08:47

A bracelet
A nice perfume
The new Lee Child book

Some really lovely soft velvety pjs, George @ Asda have a lovely set that I've bought, would be perfect for maternity as the top is cropped and the bottoms are stretchy so it would fit regardless of pregnancy. It comes with a lovely dressing gown too and it's £28.00 Thanks

Might sound daft but maybe a decent hair re-style. I know after having my baby my hair was terrible and looking after a newborn I barely had time to do anything with it. Having it trimmed into a nice short low maintenance style with some nice highlights might be a nice treat for you Smile

A bottle of perfume - although I did become sensitive to smells when I was pregnant. So, maybe a nice bath oil or body cream instead.

Tinted lip balm (Bobbi Brown has some nice ones).

A nice hair accessory - Oliver Bonas and Anthropologie have some nice ones, but quite expensive for what they are, but Accessorize also have some nice ones, which are a cheaper.

Pjs
Slippers
Dressing gown
Book
Skin care

Would always be my choices Smile

I’d want some nice bath stuff and hand cream so I could relax in the bath, hand cream for all the hand washing I did with newborns.

I think the asda jammies sounds lovely and a book too, some nice sweets to curl up and read. Basically if I was pregnant I’d want comfy relaxing things.

A lovely soft fleecy blanket for you when snuggling up on the sofa with baby.
A water bottle with sports top or similar so that you can drink one handed (no lid to undo) if you are breastfeeding.
A travel mug to keep tea warm.
A really nice keyring with space for photo.
Slippers.
A pretty watch or something, that is just for you because you like it and not related to baby!

Thank you all for your ideas so far.
Feels so different when somebody else thinks of the ideas for you.

Do you have a kindle?

If not, people say they're really good for night feeds as can read in the dark and easier to hold than a book, plus more relaxing/productive than phone scrolling. Then Amazon voucher to buy books.

Ugg slippers and some posh chocolates

Pheebs2021 · 24/12/2021 13:13

I've actually decided to be rather boring! I missed the cut offs for most shops after faffing about so I'm going to spend an hour treating myself online on Christmas night 😀

Will report back (in case anybody is interested)

A lovely Neom diffuser. They have an offer on in their online shop for their diffuser and two oils for £95.
