Ideas for home made items to go in a hamper

Making a hamper for PILs. DH went to Self's Food Hall to try and get some goodies but was rather underwhelmed.
I'm thinking about making some home made lemon curd to put in it.
Anything else that's not too tricky that would work well?
TIA

hmm, good question.

Have you got an ikea close by? They have tins and boxes of various shapes and sizes.

Cheese straws could be packed like pencils - piece of cardboard (maybe foil covered) and cellophane, or even better make them the same shape as one of those rigid plastic cases you get Christmas cards in and use that
