Box of doughnuts to share between staff

Individual gift such as box of chocolates or biscuits

Body wash / hand cream but nice versions

Costa voucher

Any other similar suggestions welcome otherwise an idea on preference of the above and perhaps any you really wouldn't like.

An email to the head teacher praising your child’s teacher would be even better than a nice card with nice words.

You can’t go wrong with wine or chocolates because they are easy to use up in company, even if the recipient isn’t keen on a particular choice.

Definitely not hand cream/ body wash.
Not Amazon vouchers. Many teachers I know have strong views on Amazon and Starbucks etc.
I’d avoid alcohol too.
I think your safest bet is biscuits or chocolate. Although my DD is a teacher, and she wouldn’t eat those either unless dairy free.

Wow 🤪 That’s ridiculous. Gifts to teachers are a token of thanks. That is all that matters. Unwanted gifts can be passed on.

OP, don’t overthink it. I used to get given all sorts. The main thing is don’t personalise anything and don’t spend too much money.
Nothing will go to waste, I used get so many presents they were shared out with my family and friends.

I'd ask your child they seem to know a lot about their teachers likes and dislikes. So dd knew her teacher loved cats (bought a cat calendar for the classroom) another was always cold (bought nice gloves for playground duty) another liked playing chess (bought a notebook to record his games) current one is vegan and gluten free but loves coffee (bought nice coffee and treats that meet his dietary requirements). I wouldn't have known any of this.

Please email the head teacher if you think they have done a good job.
All of your ideas are lovely.
