chuck them in a baking/roasting tray with some honey and soya sauce (dark preferably). A bit of water if it looking too sticky. Can heat honey a bit to make it runny to coat sausages. can't be bothered with sesame seeds either, but can be done.
not very scientific i'm afraid, but usually v tasty.

  1. nigella method soya honey bit of sesame oil.
  2. radical method which i have only tried with full sized ones. boil them then for 10 (5 for cocktail?) mins in plain water, then into frying pan with balsamic vinegar, when it has all gone they are sticky and very nice and not vinegary. don't let the pan burn though.

who the hell would put seeds with sausages?

orangina · 18/12/2007 11:30

non stick roasting pan. Will be fine. Add a tiny bit of water to minimize pan destroying potential. My pan still ok...

My method:Cook sausages in pan or roasting tin and then add runny honey and wholegrain mustard and heat through so they get all covered in sticky goo, taste to adjust amounts of either mustard/honey...soak pan immediately, it shouldnt be that bad, the honey melts in hot water.

Nigellas (more specific! method) - preheat oven to 220. Separate 1kg cocktail sausages and put in large roasting tray. Whisk together 30ml sesame oil, 125ml honey and 30ml soy sauce and pour over sausages - mix so they are coated. Roast for 25-30 mins, shuffle them about mid way if you have chance.
