What are you getting your 10 year old boy?

DS has asked for 2 things. Jellybeans and a specific funko pop.

Apart from that he just shrugs his shoulders.

He has a ps4 and switch but tbh I'm hoping to reduce his gaming time so games might not be the best option.

Oh also got him a onesie.

He has about £200 left

Any ideas?

A tablet? Like a kindle fire?
An Alexa or a google nest? The screen on the nest is pretty decent for £60 and can play shows and music.
Sports equipment?
Games like labyrinth, chess etc?
Art supplies or craft items. Hot glue gun etc.

Books? Clothes? Bean bag? Sports kit?

voucher for something like IFly - was a hit with our 10year old

My 10yo DD is getting Warhammer figures, Lego, a Pyrography set, gardening stuff, a doughnut maker, board games, a kids fitness watch amongst other things (from everyone, not just us)

Gravitrax? That’s what my ten year old got last year and was a hit. He is getting more bits to add on this year.

Skateboard. Books, art supplies. Speaker, headphones, basketball hoop and ball.

No ideas, I'm afraid OP, but I feel your pain. I also have a 10-year-old boy and have NO IDEA what to get him. He just doesn't want anything. He loves gaming, messing about with his friends, eating sweets, playing with the cat and swimming. And that's it.

trumpisagit · 08/12/2021 09:43

Nice trainers?
Football?
Lego?
Vouchers for trampoline Centre, bowling etc?

BitBroken · 08/12/2021 09:46

He has a tablet. We got him lego last year and he wasn't really that interested. Think I needed up finishing most of the sets.

Physical games might be a good option. Trou Le is he is the youngest of 5 so most games have already been bought for older siblings.

I just bought my DGS 9 a Turing Tumble .. saw it recommended on another thread .
DS (who's an IT bod) reckons its going to be brilliant.

Youngsters in my family this year are all getting a s'mores kit from CloudNine Marshmallows from me. You get the marshmallows (fresh so need to be used over Christmas), crackers, chocolate, wooden skewers and a little burner to melt them over. It's great fun.

I wouldn't count them as Xmas presents as we will all be going so can't charge him alone (rest of kids have filled their budget)

Oh I just thought. He has a mini fridge that's been empty for a while. Will do him a little drinks hamper
