What to get my lovely SIL?!

I am stuck! I don't know what to get for my SIL. She doesn't really have any hobbies that I know of.

She has expensive tastes. Which is not a problem, but it means that an upgrade of something she uses frequently is already taken care of. Eg she would already have Jo Malone or Neom candles/diffusers, she already has Hunter wellies, cashmere socks.

She and BIL have in the past got me and DH a voucher for a local spa and some of the toiletries, a high end food hamper.

Her house is immaculate and she has far better interior design taste than me so I wouldn't be happy to get her house stuff.

I don't know where she gets her hair done and I don't think I've ever seen her with her nails done so a beautician's voucher is out....

She has one DC aged 18 months. My DH has found something for BIL so it's just a present for her.

Please help!!

If she's a fan of spas, what about an Elemis gift set? Most of the spas I've been to use Elemis and I love receiving it for birthdays and Christmas because it says me a fortune through the year.

It's above budget, but there's a really good offer on a nice set on QVC at the moment.

I think I'm quite similar to your SIL (although probably not as lovely Grin) and I'm afraid I wouldn't love any toiletries. I have very specific tastes. Obviously I would be gushing in my thanks and genuinely so grateful for the thought, but I would quietly donate them afterwards. Even something in the same scent I use wouldn't work because I find it really ruins a scent to have e.g. a hand wash in the same scent as a perfume.

Does she have a candle wick trimmer? A really lovely quality one makes such a difference to how a candle burns and isn't something you'd necessarily buy yourself.

Similarly if she often has fresh flowers then floristry shears.

How about cashmere wrist warmers? They're always nice to have.

Or a voucher for a massage and a promise of babysitting whilst she goes.

Get her a book called Happy Inside - it's an interior design book.

My DH gave me a set of small Diptyque Christmas candles one year and it was heavenly.
It was a bit like the one below but they were all seasonal scents. Although this “classic” set is probably better.
It was so nice to try out the different scents.

I'm with @Chatwin

Harris gin and/or the beautiful glasses

Something small and beautiful and, ideally, local or artisanal. Not m and s or John Lewis or Oliver Bonas.

Chanel hair mist. People don't buy it for themselves, but it's fab.

If she has a house with silver door handles etc, how about a silver photo frame? Or a voucher towards a family photo shoot?
