Yes, if you have one of these: not interested in:

  • sports
  • gaming or tech
  • fitness
  • foodie gifts
  • alcohol
  • tools (he has enough)
  • brands/clothes
  • metrosexual stuff

I feel your pain.
Gift ideas?

Depending on where you live, tickets to a Tractor Show to indulge his lust www.tractorworldshows.co.uk/

So pleased I looked at this thread as I’m going to get my very difficult husband to buy for some AirPods, thank you!

trekcrockett · 03/12/2021 13:42

If he's oudoorsy...a good pair of wellies? MuckBoots or similar.

SpookyScarySkeletons · 03/12/2021 14:02

This year she's getting me a crossbow pistol (or killing me off, either way she needs to close browser windows).

Haha this really tickled me 😂😂

My DH is not the gift experience twice. As I discovered after having to extend the time period for his supercar driving experience that he never actually booked. £80 layer and all we have to show for it is an unused gift card.

Tractordiggerdump · 03/12/2021 14:06

But does he have a Mag (magnetic?)Drill?!

Doomscrolling · 03/12/2021 14:19

Tickets to live comedy or music?

Mol1628 · 03/12/2021 14:24

I have got mine the new AirPods 3. If you order direct from Apple you can get free engraving.

Also got him socks, slippers and aftershave.

Florence08 · 03/12/2021 14:27

Does he lose things? Am getting my DH an AirTag to help with the endless searches for his wallet (although I guess this might come under ‘tech’ on your list…)

SarahBellam · 03/12/2021 14:30

To paraphrase Tim Minchin ‘Socks, jocks, and chocks’ is just fine by him. He really doesn’t want or need anything else.

StarlightStarlight · 03/12/2021 15:07

And no one has suggested sex?

fruitbrewhaha · 03/12/2021 15:10

I've one of these so I have bought a couple of tickets to see Russel Brand. Which reminds me I need to pick them up from the theatre.

I am expecting to go too obviously.

TheLovelinessOfBaublyDemons · 03/12/2021 15:12

Ask him what he wants?

Bluetrews25 · 03/12/2021 15:20

Some butch hand cream for his work-roughened hands?
Udderly smooth was developed for you can tell where, and is often used by humans too.

Have you got a woodburner? If so, have you a logsplitter? Or a little fan that sits on top to push the heat into the room? (They run on the heat they feel through their 'feet', Aldi have them in once a year, other suppliers are available)
Gel insoles for his footwear - keep him warmer and more comfortable. Thermals?

I've heard the battery chainsaws are not as powerful as petrol for the big stuff (fallen trees)

SSOYS · 03/12/2021 15:43

A proper Guernsey jumper www.guernseywoollens.com/

They are amazing and last forever.

Plexie · 03/12/2021 15:46

Outdoor wildlife camera with night vision?

Plexie · 03/12/2021 15:47

And no one has suggested sex?

Grin Grin Grin

I'm tempted to lower the tone further and suggest a voucher for a (ahem).

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 03/12/2021 15:51

My DH is the same (although he genuinely wouldn't care if he didn't have anything to open)

I've got him tickets to a show (Brian Cox) a nice jumper and a book that was being discussed on the radio one day and he commented 'oh I might get that' (which he'll likely have completely forgotten when he opens it!!)

He's generally happy with socks, plain tshirts and any sort of chocolate or biscuit related gift as well Xmas Smile

We’ve put a limit this year as I always wasted money when he just gets stuff he wants anyway when he wants it.
I’ve bought him personalised bottle espresso martini and a Spotify playlist and speaker

ItsDinah · 03/12/2021 16:44

Is there anything you need for the house or does it have to be more personal? I know someone similar who was very pleased to be given a drone.

WouldBeGood · 03/12/2021 16:46

Blowjob? Outdoors by a freshly fixed fence for maximum satisfaction? 😃

WouldBeGood · 03/12/2021 16:49

I was going to suggest a MUD number plate, but they are madly expensive.

Saw one on a Land Rover like mine once and wanted it!

Nidan2Sandan · 03/12/2021 16:52

DH has plenty of interests, but not exactly things that easily lend themselves to gifts.

He loves martial arts, but has all the equipment he needs for that. He loves his motorbike, but has all the "basic" equipment and anything else he would want is ££££££££. He plays guitar but has everything you could imagine, including 11 guitars.

He would Xmas Hmm if I got him an experience day of any sort, and lotions, potions, pants and socks are a big no no.

batmanladybird · 03/12/2021 16:52

Can I have a link to the sheepskin slippers please

Legoisthebest · 03/12/2021 16:57
