Recommend me a good Christmas Pudding please

I've had Christmas dinner with my parents every single one of my 50 years. My dad died a few years ago, and my mum died a few months ago.
My mum had very simple tastes so food was basic. She used to make the pudding, but in more recent years I was sent to buy one. With absolutely no alcohol.
This year, it's finally time for some new family traditions. I've got a fancy and flavoursome Christmas dinner planned, but I don't have a pudding. I'm not making one. I want to buy one. Must feed 6-8, the more boozy the better, but I don't want to spend a fortune.
Suggestions please!

I can recommend this one for taste and price.

I don't eat the stuff myself but my dad tells me Duchy something or other at Waitrose is his favourite. I once went rogue and got him a Heston one with hidden satsuma and I don't think he's ever forgiven me.

I think Fortnum and Mason is a bit outside my price range.
The tesco one looks decent. I might make a special trip to waitrose and have a look at theirs too.

I second Georgie Porgie's for a proper round handmade tasty thing - perfect for a new tradition

We are Christmas pudding fiends in our house, and have them frequently throughout the winter.

We like Georgie Porgie mentioned above, also Lilypuds (from Oxfam) and Duchy Originals but they are all quite light - my preference would be for a richly dark one if I was just getting one.

My favourite for actual Christmas is the Waitrose Heston one with a hidden orange.

My favourite traditional ones are Tesco finest, M&S more expensive ones in a box (not in cellophane) and the Aldi specially selected ones.

The very best one I have ever had is made by hand on the Isle of Man. I think Aldi stock them or you can order from their website but postage is £5 to England.

I've already eaten two of the 'ASDA Extra Special 9 Month Matured Luxury Christmas Pudding' this year. Scrum-diddly-umptious!
