When do most children stop believing in ...

I know it's a silly question

My seven year old dd still believes which I think is very sweet, but I know it will not last for much longer. She also goes in for the tooth fairy in a big way.

How much longer will the magic last now that she is in the juniors? Once dd1 stops believing, then I know dd2 (4) will follow shortly after. I'm a second child and was about five when my sister told me!

Still, at least there's the "hide" option now.

Bah humbug

Fine if they've worked it out, cr*p if it's because of some fool putting it somewhere they can read.

Anyway, for all those.

i've asked for title to be changed btw

Furball · 16/12/2007 18:43

Can we get this title changed? my 6 yo can read and it's not fair for you to post that on a title.

I think I was about 4 or 5 when it all became clear. DS and DD never believed - it was always just a story to them, like any other magical story that they enjoyed - and I never tried to make them believe otherwise.
