Have I understood this right? Does FC bring ALL the presents to some people's houses?

So that on Christmas morning, not only the stockings, but everything under the tree is from him? Even the strangely shaped orange cardigan that Great Aunt Gloria knitted and wraped in a carefully ironed piece of last year's wrapping paper?

Surely I've misunderstood.

Santa brings the main pressie and family and friends bring all the rest.

Simple

We didn't do stockings as a child, so it's all new to me but I guess Stockings are little extras from Santa, and I've only ever put satsuma, banana and a few little toys things in

Father Christmas (sorry can't bring myself to do Santa, I'm too old ) brings a stocking and it seems to have evolved that this year he will bring one main present. The rest are from relatives etc.

FC brings nice things, but not major presents (this year he is bringing a pink spotty tank top, Disney Princess pants, pink Smarties, some stickers, a couple of colour books ... oh, and some utter tat from Hawkins). I have explained to DD that sometimes he asks other people to give children what they have asked for, which should explain why she asked HIM for a keyboard but PiLs are giving it (if she even notices the discrepancy).

Similarly he always gave me nice things, but never major stuff - books, games, sweets (always a chocolate orange, mm), other stuff to keep me quiet for a while.

I still do stockings for all adults staying on Christmas Eve so this year that's DH, MIL, BIL & SIL (plus DS of course)...and the dog
