Non-fancy hairdryer recommendations needed....

My lovely MIL wants a hairdryer for Christmas. She doesn't want anything fancy. Main priority will be it needs to be lightweight and easy/comfortable to operate, as she's in her 70s and only getting older :-) She will also want something that is reliable and will last. It obviously needs to be decent at drying hair :)

Any recommendations? - I've seen this one in the BF sale at Boots, but can't find too much info on it..... www.boots.com/remington-copper-radiance-hairdryer-10282710

I needed a new dryer, friend recommended the Dyson one but it is £££. At a nice hotel recently they had fab small, light, powerful, easy to use dryers. Decided to track down and buy and this was it. It's SO good! I bought it because it was perfect, it was a bonus that it was such a good price.

What about one of the Dyson knock offs - they have kind of copied the design but don’t have the fancy name and therefore are hugely cheaper - have seen a few on Amazon eg Flintronics etc which have good reviews. The design looks ideal if wanting something lightweight, I’ve been wanting one for a few years and holding out for a Dyson but can’t afford it so thinking of getting one of these for Christmas myself!

About 2 years ago my hairdryer died. I bought a Remington Power Dry Hairdryer 2000w D3010 for somewhere in the region of £15 to £20 from boots.
It a light dryer, with 2 heat levels, cold shot and 2 speeds. I found it a good dryer and I bought the same for my aunt who is in her 70's. She was delighted with because it was not heavy but worked well.
