Non food hamper ideas for inlaws

I want to make a hamper for my MIL and SIL as we won't be seeing them again this Xmas and NYE. We haven't seen them for two years now due to them shielding from Covid (they are both very ill and haven't been out of the house since the first lockdown!).

I did them a hamper last year with nice chocs, lovely soap, cashmere bed socks and some games. I want to do them another hamper this year but don't want to include the same stuff. I need some ideas please!

Pre-planted bulbs in a jug/bowl

Oooh, a little bit of luxury? I'd go for super soft and natural stuff like a silk pillowcase, soft pyjamas, a heat pad that plugs in (like a hot water bottle without the scalding risk), a jigsaw (but that's because my equivalent reliies would love this. Especially a Wentworth one). Maybe a potted bulb for them to enjoy watching open. A bird feeder and seed that attaches to the window. A festive radio times! A lottery ticket.

Book of short stories.
Amaryllis bulb in a pot.
Naice Tea/Coffee
Room diffuser with essential oils

If they have a DVD player a film with some popcorn and chocolate.

Naice mug each
One Cup Kettle
Houseplants

Their favourite chocolates/biscuits, favourite tea or coffee. If they drink some of their favourite drink, nice cup or glass, small Christmas pudding each (if they like), tote socks, hand creams, puzzle books or game they would enjoy, maybe quiz related or if they like criminal shows you can get detective solve crime games.

Last year I did my in-laws one each, I adapted each to suite personalities. Mil got bottle of gin, gin cocktails book, gin glass, scented candle, nice chocolates, gloves, toy for her dog. FIL was nice mug matching mils gin glass, he dosnt drink, hence the mug, his favourite tea bags, favourite socks, sudoku book, favourite biscuits, portable charger pack, toy for his dog.

I always find hampers are better with things the person actually likes rather than fancy things that may look or sound nice, but you can never be sure they will actually use what’s in them. We do my DHs aunt one every year, it’s filled with all her favourite things, cappuccino sachets, kitkats, french fancies etc… the one difference we add is what ever Xmas themed gift we put in it, this year a nice bauble. She looks forward to it. She has no problem telling us if there is something she dosnt like, hence us knowing exactly what to put in.

I'm making one of these for my parents !

On my list I've ordered/ bought :
A nice book on birds,
Biscotti biscuits in a fancy tin
Luxurious lavender bath stuff from www.inbloomandco.com
Fancy crackers
Fancy chutneys
Some coloured dinner candles

I plan on:
A photo album book of various pics (as we never seem to print pics anymore )

I like the idea of a bird feeder

What about Magazine subscription
Sign them up to one of those monthly deliveries of something they would like gin, wine, books, art and craft, flowers. Most have 3 month, 6months year options.
