Ideas for LC parent gift

I am low contact with my dad and step-mum but we exchange gifts every year. Usually I get a bottle of wine and a gift voucher. This year they are off the wine, so I need something different - and also some voucher inspiration. In the past I have done Just Eat, Boots and B&Q. I tend to spiral into overthinking this - please sort me out with something simple so I can tick this one off the list good people of mumsnet! (NB they will give me cash, same as every year - I can't afford as much as them and I don't like the feeling of giving cash in return).

These are a taste of luxury, we had the lemon meringue, chocolate orange and chocolate mint. Even my husband who's a bit meh about marshmallows really liked them .

Can you get them a box of posh shortbread instead of the wine? Or a pot plant.

Like the idea of shortbread in a nice tin - marks and spencer usually do good ones. Or a nice bottle of something non alcoholic.

Vouchers - M&S, John Lewis or Debenham give them lots of choice..

I think the equivalent of wine is usually; nice tin of biscuits/chocolates, a Christmassy potted plant (Poinsettia, mini Christmas tree etc- most supermarkets/garden centres will have something) or a cheese selection and crackers.

Vouchers: M&S, John Lewis, a restaurant you know they like (or if any of the vouchers that you’ve got in the past have been well received I’d probably just get the same ones again).

You can get vouchers for National Truat now that can be used either to get in places or on the shops or cafe so might be something different? I would go nice tin of biscuits to go with it

What's your budget? I'd buy a nice tin of biscuits from Fortnum and Masons as the tone are beautiful and can be kept as a keep sake.

Thanks all. Budget is max £30. I like the plant/ biscuits ideas. Vouchers - I've never had any feedback about whether the ones I've bought previously have been used! I personally love the idea of National Trust, bit they don't really do that sort of thing (might put it on my list though!). Big shops is good idea - they like a wander round out John Lewis.
