What do your 5/6 year old girls want?

Dd has a dolls house, kitchen, pushchair (although could get a new one!?) a barbie dream camper van..

She’s obsessed with babies and Barbies. She has load of them though. She’s very motherly lol

I have no idea this year. She wanted the barbie dream house but it’s way too expensive and big 😩😞

My friend’s girl has the dream house and I’ve been put off buying it - it’s massive! They love it though

My DD6 has asked for the Instax camera and some Playmobil room sets for her Playmobil house. May get her a scooter as well and she’s also after ‘sportswear’.

She’s just had her birthday and got lots of Barbie/Playmobil and crafty stuff. A marble run I bought on a whim has been played with quite a bit!

Omg I just idly looked at the Barbie dream house and wtf? How on god’s green earth can they justify that price? There I was thing it would be about £79 or something!

Makes me glad DD (8) never got into Barbie. She had a few of my niece’s old ones for a bit but didn’t play with them.

At 5/6 she had:

One of those indoor flying drones that cost about £17 - this was a BIG hit on Christmas Day

My 6 year old DD has asked for a scooter and a calculator 😂

She’s getting a micro scooter, lego, lots of books, stationery and… a calculator!

Dd turns 6 in a few weeks and is getting for Birthday:

Mine has asked for a double buggy for her dolls, a bouncy ball and her very own blu-tac.

I think we can probably run to that 😁

Bluey toys, a Squishmallow and a Cry Baby. Really not keen on getting her a Cry Baby as I don't think she will play with it past Boxing Day!

How about a tent? My dd loved her circus style tent from IKEA at that age. Set up with all her teddies and toys.

Little China teaset for superhero tea parties (sometimes the barbies were allowed to join!).

Games, she loved orchard toys games, guess who, jenga, monopoly/game of life junior, bugs in the kitchen, snakes and ladders. And our new favourite catventures.

How about a colour in dolls House? Hobbycraft do them, she could colour it in and then when it gets too much or she loses interest you can recycle it.

Cuddly toys are a winner here, especially build a bear ones. For the person saying about pokemon they do lovely ones dd1 has collected them since they started coming out and she's 13 now!

Fidget type toys? Plastic crap but dd and her friends all love them so we've got her a few. Plus a squishmallow from Aldi. Only £7.99 in there :)

My DD bought the unbranded fashion doll house from Studio. She was into Lol, squishies and craft/drawing stuff. My other GC is four and wants the Chelsea pool play set. We buy the Barbie type jeeps from b&m. There's a princess carriage coach that's been pointed out as well. They got scooters for Easter and iPads for birthdays. All the six year old wants is Roblox vouchers. She's getting gymnastic stuff as well.

@Smeds if she doesn't play with the Cry Baby past boxing day, consider it A Very Good Thing. DD1 asked for one for her 3rd birthday. They are noisy and annoying, and have a voice which is clearly an adult pretending to cry which is pretty creepy TBH.
