I want to get one for my little girl but when I Google they all look tiny! Anyone seen any good ones?

I bought 2 sacks from the Handmade Christmas Co 5 years ago. They're big and really lovely.

What size do you want? Like the size of the enormous carrier bags that you can get in the supermarkets?

We have two of the smaller ones. One for presents for Santa and one for under the tree with presents from us. We got a gorgeous red one from Matalan with DS's initial on it

Second handmade Christmas co. They had an offer with vodafone last year where you only had to pay postage so worth looking out for them. We got DS stocking from not on the high street a few years ago and it's lovely

DC have sacks from the Handmade Christmas Company, they're lovely and really durable they've had them for years.

Sacks always seem a bit grabby to me. Plus….as kids get older and present size gets smaller (tho not necessarily the price!) they are harder to fill

But then we’ve only ever put gifts from Santa in their stockings. Any other presents are under the tree

Yes, but by the time they’re older they understand that though the sack may not be as previous years the presents will still be lovely and they understand value and being realistic, or at least mine do!

Fair point!

I find a sack each makes organising presents easier, all their presents (except what's in their stocking) goes in their sack, presents under the tree are mine or for giving to visitors. The sack isn't necessarily bursting full, not sure how a sack is grabby.

I've just had a code from the handmade Christmas Co for 15% off until tomorrow if it's any use to anyone SCARY15.

I’ve spent years looking for decent personalised stockings with no luck. I’ve got one for myself, DH and DD1 but I bought them overseas years ago. I’ve tried getting something decent to go with them for my other DDs but no luck. Today we actually bought 2 of the velvet initial sacks from B& M, they didn’t have dd 3s initial but she’s too young to care and was happy with a Santa one.

There is a place in our local shopping centre that stitches names to things, they sell lots of baby items and personalise them. Maybe look for something like this or find a stocking you love and stitch her name to it yourself. Or even try iron in letters.

M and S have decent quality ones but they are first initials not names.

Don’t forget to get 2 for each child so you can just lift the full one out of your hiding place on Christmas Eve and swap with the one hanging by the chimney.
This is even more important if the stockings are at the end of their beds.
Much easier than having rustling of bags and presents to wake them up at the critical time!
