has anyone been to previous events? is it worth an hour and 40 minute each way journey?

have a blue light card so can get discount tickets but dont want to drive 3hr plus round trip if its a bit 'flat'

It’s the first year they’ve run it.

If its anything like Roundhay Park ones I wouldn't bother. Not worth the entry fee, not worth that drive.

Couldhavebeenme3 · 30/10/2021 06:43

Just looked at the ticket price - £50 for a family walk in the dark/wet around part of a park that is free to visit (and park) 365 days a year.

Now I love a fairy light but I've got better things to spend fifty quid on #makingmemories

I've got tickets, agree they were very expensive. Its localish to us so travel not an issue.
If its like the lights/lanterns at Roundhay then we liked that so not a problem.
We normally do Lotherton and include Father Christmas but having a change this year and doing Santa elsewhere.

I probably wouldn't travel that far to an unknown!

Harewood House is not far away and has been very good in past years.

hmmm- dont think the discount offers much of a temptation then- will give it a swerve- thanks all Smile
