But we are finding it hard to find anything because everything he has asked for the family have stepped forward and said they are getting it. We both have big families so its always a nightmare at this time of year trying to get him to give ideas.

So if anyone can please give us some ideas then i would be very greatful.

He is 5 now by the way.

5 is just about old enough for table football. And it comes in a massive box so is exciting to open on Christmas morning!

my MIL and PIL got my two boys a joint pressie of a tiny, coffee table sized, Pool table. it just sits on top of the coffee table (when mummy allows that is) and it brings it up to the perfect height.

has been the best and worst present as they play loads but find it hard to share at times (normally when me and their sisters have the hormonal PMT weeks as the whole household gets irritable in sympathy/fear), but they are improving their sharing skills immensly.

I know you don't have two to buy for, but this is great just when played with alone, and he could also play with friends when they come visit.

my boys are 5 n 7 BTW.

HTH
