worried about my little shepard

Hi everyone, My daughter is going to star in her first school play tomorrow as a shepard. The thing is she's only 33 months old and quite shy. I'm a bit worried about how she'll be in front of a big audience without mummy or Daddy. If she cries should I go to her or let the teacher see to her. She had a rehersal today in the chappel and she did well apparently. Am I just worreing about nothing? I have been looking forward to it for ages, but now it's so close I have butterflies for her.

do you baby her a lot by any chance

pmsl at the 33 months old part

ds hates doing preschool stuff in front of an audience.

He refused to put on his costume for his nativity and just came straight to me and sat on my lap for it.

I wasn't worried and neither was the preschool - they just said they'd try again next yr.

If she's happy let her carry on, and if she wants to come out let her.

It's not worth worrying about at this age.

PMSL at Kerry and the 33 months

just go with the flow .. if she wants mummy or daddy you'll know .. don't interrupt the show though or get in the way of other people's kids and their parents' view of them to film / photo or go to your own little cherub.. but if she comes to you let her

she'll be fine .. it's supposed to be fun

Hi Kerryk, yes I have been accused of that in the passed, and yes maybe I do. She is our only child and an IVF baby and I do have to try very hard not to baby her.

aww nothing wrong with that, my own dd is going to be a shepard in her nativity. when i was at school it was only the boys who were picked for they roles, how times have changed

Dd2 is just 3 and was Mary in her play today.

She picked her nose throughout ( a relief after she's told dh that she wa soging to show everyon eher knickers) and caleed and eaved to everyone she knew.
And sang very loudly.

the staff encouraged those who wanted to wander off to stay with the otjers.

Was very sweet actually.

If she gets too shy it'll be cute and if she cries I'm sure the teachers will help out
