NEED YOUR IDEAS FOR FUN ADULT ACTIVITY AT CHRISTMAS PARTY

I'm organising a party and quiz night for some local residents as a thank you for their hard work in the community.

I need something that's fun to keep them occupied for about ten minutes while the quiz scores are being added up.

The first year I ran it I got each team to make a paper aeroplane and send someone up to throw it to see how far it would go.

Last year I gave each team an egg and got them to make a 'safety cage' out of 2 sheets of paper, then they got a couple of extra points if the egg survived when I dropped it from the stage.

So you get the idea... something a bit silly but not too elaborate.

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

there's a great game we play at our volunteers xmas do. Teams of 5 or 6, one person comes up to you and is given a xmas carol or song, they then have to go bacjk and draw it (like pictionary, no words/numbers allowed). When they have guessed it, next person comes up to get next title. First team to guess all the songs wins chocs to share among team. Great fun and very simple.

we used to do this one;
Look through some magazines and choose about 10 full page ads.Take the scissors and cut out the keywords and brandname of the product being advertised.Pin on a wall and give evryone 10 minutes to write down what the ads are for.
