Cheap bulk decorations

Hello,

Since last Christmas we’ve moved from a tiny flat with a tiny tree, to one I can get a 10-12ft one in this year. Yippee!

However, this means I need to buy a lot of decorations for the tree and some garlands for a stair bannister.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a place to get a large amount of decorations cheaply? I’m in central London, so it’ll probably have to be online (John Lewis etc. too expensive!)

Many thanks

If I was starting from scratch I would pick a colour scheme, eg red and gold, then buy plain red and gold baubles from the likes of B &q for bulk. Then spend a bit more on individual special decorations for the front/ highly visible parts of the tree.

Charity shops are heaving with decorations every year if you don't mind second hand

Ebay. Have bought loads of cute decs on there in bulk.
Or look on facebook market place/ freecycle

Asda’s George are doing tubs of baubles for £2-£5 depending on size and numbers, which are good fillers.

Amazon is good for presents. Look at charity shops and also visit the supermarkets. Pick and try to stick to a color scheme- red and gold or blue and white.

Definitely charity shops.
Almost all of my tree decorations are from charity shops and most are really special and/or vintage ones.

You can get tons in charity shops normally in bundles for cheap. The range have some nice decorations, which are also very cheap.

I brought loads of baubles from B&Q last year. Nice quality and will be used for years to come!

IKEA!

The Range, Home Bargains or B&M have large boxes of baubles at reasonable prices. These look good from B&M and they come in a couple of different colour options.

This place was a treasure trove when I was getting married. Good quality and their Christmas decorations were lovely too.

My issue with IKEA is that the red is just not right. It’s not deep enough.

Have a look at wilko. They often have a few which are good quality.

Bargain homes and BnM. Have £10 tubes of 50 baubles.
