So you open a window and it shows you something you can make. You then have to try and pick out the correct little bag of bits and make the thingie. Then what?

I thought it would be a Christmassy scene that you put the bits onto or something. All I can see atm is that I have the box propped up to see the picture, I will end up with lots ot silly little Lego thingies and DS has lost interest already!

We have the Playmobile one too and love that.

Me too, Belgo, I spend ages sitting with DD arranging the playmobil rabbits by the carrots and so on

Yes belgo - THAT lego one does look nice. Haven't seen it anywhere though. We have the other one. Sigh.

They don't seem to do the PLaymobil one that we have but it is similar to this.

Lol at F&Z - maybe that's it!

Lego advent calendars are going down a storm here, apart from minor teething trouble. DD lost the fairy's wand yesterday and there was a tense moment when DS thought the cat had eaten the lego man's hat. Agree that an angle grinder isn't exactly festive, neither are road works or the drinks trolley in DD's today. But the children love them and spent ages playing with them yesterday which bought us some peace, so I am happy !

buda - that sounds like the one I saw for just 10 euros.

designing playmobil and lego must be the best jobs in the world

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 02/12/2007 10:13

Well the lego designer may well get a snotty e-mail from me as am not happy. An advent calendar should be Christmassy! Not buildery.

Bah humbug.

We have a Playmobil one - the woodland scene one. DD wanted the pink one but we couldn't get hold of it anywhere. She is liking her Playmobil one though. Has the Christmassy house scene one last year.

hulababy - the woodland scene one looks lovely.

Advent calenders aren't vey popular in Belgium and I'm hoping to buy them reduced after Christmas for next year.
