DP asked me last night what i want but my mind instantly went blank and i couldn't think of a thing. I need some inspiration. There must be something I want but every time I try and think my mind goes blank again. His budget's about £100.
What are you all hoping to get/asking for?

SEA I love my Realness of concealness set! It's the only make-up where I've bought the bigger versions of everything because it's all so clever and fab!

I'm hoping for some champagne (our tradition is for dh and I to share a bottle on christmas day after the dc are in bed, watching telly and guzzling chocs...wonderful!) and a lovely new make up set.

Yummers that's one christmas present we can all have! Jesus is the reason for the season and all that (sorry for deeply cheesy bumper-sticker slogan). Come and pop over to the prayer thread if you feel like a bit of fellow-christian chat!

geogteach · 01/12/2007 16:49

I want a granny style shopping trolley but DH is refusing, so I asked for a greenhouse (mini lean too one) and he said yes!

lizziemun · 01/12/2007 17:17

some help with my old mum

family that would take the kids once in a blue moon and actually show some interest in them

ds2 to sleep better

me to earn more than £5.35 an hour

life to get easier

smartiejake · 01/12/2007 18:07

A talking DH.
A non argumentative 11 year old.
Someone who will help me with something/ anything in the house.
A cure for my mum

ssd · 02/12/2007 08:52

what I want money can't buy, which is just as well as I don't have any

Anna8888 · 02/12/2007 09:21

A burnished gold bag from Marni . We went to choose it yesterday afternoon .

ssd · 02/12/2007 09:22

Anna, our lives are so so different

JackieNoel · 02/12/2007 09:26

Some more Trollbeads for my bracelet, Alan Bennett's 'An Uncommon Reader'. The new William Gibson. Another subscription to Vogue or Easy Living (had both last year, and it was fab).

norkmaiden · 02/12/2007 09:33

coco chanel mademoiselle - eking out the remains of my current one.

Anna8888 · 02/12/2007 10:41

ssd - very very for you that you seem so burdened.

But you know what - my life wasn't always like this, nothing like this. Things can get better

CharlieAndLolasMummy · 02/12/2007 10:49

Yarn and posh needles
Books
Chocolate

I have taken the precaution of just buying them though, so whatever dp gets me is a bonus

CharlieAndLolasMummy · 02/12/2007 10:50

oh and world peace of course

come ON MN with the festive smilies! I want to be [fwinking]

ssd · 02/12/2007 21:15

thanks for that Anna!

you know I am actually very lucky, I've got a fantastic dh who does loads around the house, loads with the kids and is really a brilliant guy

so I can't moan at all

P.S. thanks for the support anyway!

threestars · 02/12/2007 22:58

oooh, I'd LOVE Jo Malone perfume (lime, basil & mandarin OR amber & lavender. Or both of course).
And a silk & lace nightdress, so I feel like a layyyyddeeee instead of mum.

choosyfloosy · 02/12/2007 23:06

stuff i would actually like...

A DVD of Carmen
A pressure cooker
a massage at the local chiropractic clinic (i.e. proper massage by chap with hands of steel, not some drippy beauty therapist, apologies to all beauty therapists with hands of steel)
Theatre tokens - i love love love goign to the theatre and haven't really been able to afford it for a long long time, also going out is rare and theatre is risky, so we take the safer option of a fillum
a book token - £15 in M&S is just depressing, while £15 in the bookshop gets you several hours of happiness
Dr Hauschka Rose Day cream

i am hoping for the dvd, anyway

sweetkitty · 02/12/2007 23:07

my appetite back (newly pregnant) want to enjoy Christams pigging out

actually would like
some new PJs
some more DKNY Be Delicious prefume
new camera
new make up brushes (wouldn't like to guess how old mine were)
some foot treatment stuff for my manky, disgusting hooves

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 02/12/2007 23:08

I would like some pjs
Some slippers
And a nice perfume

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 02/12/2007 23:11

And for the soc services panel to give us back some overnight respite re DS2 so we could sleep once in a while (he's got to go to a centre for it because his previous one couldn't cope with being awake half the night)

And for our house to be ready (council but with DS's new extension.) We would supposed to have moved in last Spring!

expatinscotland · 03/12/2007 00:43

the Urban Decay eye pencil set
Viva Glam original lipstick
Perfume and the body lotion to match
A couple of cookbooks
A Le Creuset round casserole
A set of stainless steel saucepans

Clary · 03/12/2007 00:51

steam generator iron.

Magic M&S knickers

nice new knitwear

Books to read

slippers

Expensive moisturiser/body cream/shampoo

New swimming costume

Doubt if I will get any of these

MrsThierryHenry · 03/12/2007 01:00

This is going to sound like I'm some kind of non-materialistic Mother Teresa type character (I assure you, I love good clothes and chocolates like most women).

I've had a horrific 6 months. I don't think I've ever been so stressed in my life. So for Xmas I'd really like to have a peaceful, restful 2008.
