I'm absolutely stumped as usual

My DH has the most guy-desired job where he gets to drive new cars, eat at the best restaurants, travel (and play golf when he gets there) and watch/meet sports people. (don't ask!)

AARGH! I did the cute here's a voucher thing for lie in, a morning where he goes and plays golf etc for his birthday at end of Oct.

what's everyone else doing?

A new coffee maker. I bought him the last one and it was only a couple of hundred dollars and it has carked it! The trouble is deciding how much to spend as you can get some really exxy ones, but we have so much renovation expense at the moment that it wouldn't be very responsible of us to lash out on each other

chodders · 01/12/2007 17:08

A jar of pickeled something or other / a roll of dusbin liners to remind him that he is responsible for the garbage/past old fashion comedy shows like "on the buses" & "george & mildred" DVD set./box of sox/cookery book by jamie oliver even though hub dosent cook its about time he did.

I like the sound of that digital frame....can I just google it? how come you got it half price?

I have the man from hell who does all the driving cars etc in his job...so need to do the downshift romantic thing. I know that's what he'd appreciate...but tbh that requires time and thought. Not much of that in my brain!!!!

a friend suggested booking a picnic for the summer....wonder if anyone has any ideas for the winter? I'm vaguely thinking of ice skating and hot chocolate. Something like that.

Anyone think of something better?

(must just add that DH is fab at getting gifts - I maintain its cos he has nothing else to do ie he doesn't think about anyone else as I do that!)

A copy of Vivienne Westwood's manifesto, and some DVDs - a 5 dvd set of Blade Runner, I think.
