Well i have just checked for stores i can get one from and none are in local town.

i would be keen on that to as i have to borrow cards

postcode in here to show closest stores selling them.

Paypoint are in local shops /post offices whereever you can top up your phone or if you have gas or electric meters.
Tort keep checking our shop only just got them in so maybe they are a new thing .

Does anyone know why there is such a shortage of Wii in UK. It is just ridiculous.

We were just in a shop here in Germany, they are loads here (check my profile, I even took a photo so that my brother would believe me) They are all just sitting there, hardly anyone interested in them.

I have to buy one for my brother's friend and post it.

DH is talking of filling the car with wiis and taking the ferry over. If we were to charge 20quid delivery fee we could pay for the ferry

Presumably the electrics differ slightly so it may be marginally more expensive to manufacture to UK specification relative to market size. Therefore they can limit supply increasing scarcity value/desirability and inflate price. It always happens.

I don't think that the electrics differ at all, they have a different plug that is all. We have bought loads of electric goods in UK and either change the plug or use an adapter.

Just looked on ebay, they are selling for over 270quid. That is crazy. The shop I was in earlier had them for 245euros 100pounds cheaper
